Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of the late entertainer Whitney Houston and R&B singer Bobby Brown, has died, about seven months after she was found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub, a representative for the Houston family said Sunday. She was 22.

“Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July 26, 2015, surrounded by her family,” said the representative, Kristen Foster. “She is finally at peace in the arms of God.  We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”

Police said Brown was found Jan. 31 in the suburban Atlanta townhome she shared with Nick Gordon, the man she called her husband. A police report described it as a “drowning.”

She underwent surgery to replace her breathing tube with a tracheostomy tube in February, and she was moved to hospice care June 24.

Brown was Houston and Bobby Brown’s only child.
