Pakistani police say a bomb blast has killed two people and wounded 13 others in Karachi.

Officials say the explosion Friday morning was caused by a bomb planted on a motorcycle. Police say the bomb was detonated when a police bus passed by the motorcycle.  Most of the victims were police.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast, but militants linked to the Taliban and al-Qaida have launched similar attacks against police in the past in Pakistan’s biggest city.
