A suicide bomber has attacked a bus carrying Afghan troops in Kabul, killing six soldiers.
Officials said the bomber was on foot as he carried out the attack Thursday morning.
The blast wounded 10 other people, including some civilians.
The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
Militants have been stepping up attacks, particularly in Kabul, hitting both Afghan security forces and foreign troops as well as diplomatic targets.
NATO forces are ending their combat mission in Afghanistan after 13 years and transitioning to a new mission in January focusing on training and advising Afghan troops.
