On The Front Lines In Donetsk, Life Is Both Normal — And Far From It

The death toll continues to mount in Ukraine’s eastern city of Donetsk, where at least two civilians were killed by weekend artillery fire between government forces and pro-Russia militia fighters. But in many ways, life in the Donbas city remains surprisingly normal, with well-stocked supermarkets and freshly planted flowers.
