Is Trump’s Foreign Policy Non-Interventionist? Not So Fast

At a “thank you” rally for his supporters near Fort Bragg, the largest U.S. army base, President-elect Trump introduced his nominee for defense secretary and called for an end to “the destructive cycle of intervention and chaos.” That struck some commentators as a call for a “non-interventionist” approach to world affairs. But as VOA’s Masood Farivar reports, Trump’s foreign policy remains a work in progress if not a bundle of contradictions.
