The U.S. presidential nominating contest moved Tuesday to the western states of Arizona, Idaho and Utah.
Voters chose among the remaining five presidential candidates: for Republicans, front-runner Donald Trump, Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Ohio Governor John Kasich; for Democrats, front-runner Hillary Clinton and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.
Tuesday’s primaries and caucus gave candidates another opportunity to add to their delegate totals. On the Republican side, the first candidate to amass 1,237 delegates gains the nomination; for Democrats, the nomination requires 2,383 delegates.
Trump leads Republicans with 739 delegates, followed by Cruz, with 425, and Kasich at 143.
Clinton leads rival Sanders, 1,670 delegates to 886.
